- Responsible for the supervision of a Jack-up Barge
- Operating and positioning the Jack-up Barge
- Keeping the Jack-up Barge operational
- Managing and partly executing the maintenance and repair of the Jack-up Barge
- Maintaining class certification
- A third level qualification in mechanical engineering (typically a Dutch MTS, maritime academy or equivalent)
- A minimal of 10 years hands-on experience in maintenance of construction equipment
- Knowledge of construction equipment working in a marine environment
- Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical equipment will be a plus
- A flexible and hands-on attitude
- Inventive and stress resistant
- Eager to work outside Europe
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
