The Supply Chain Polymers department is responsible for planning, order handling, warehousing and distribution of around 4 Mton of polymers in Europe. The Planning department takes care of long and short term planning, both in terms of demand, supply and inventory.
The Challenge
The Demand Chain Coordinator's main target is to improve the demand forecast and to create value across the supply chain as main focal point between Supply Chain Management and Business Management.
Amongst others your responsibilities are drawing-up and monitoring the demand plan on tactical and operational level in SAP. You are acting as a linking pin between Supply Chain Management and other departments and are coordinating the logistic complaint process. You also participate in Sales & Operations Planning and chair and functionally steer the demand chain process. By coordinating and/or implementing logistic improvement projects you are creating value. Improving, designing and implementing new models with respect to demand planning belong to your tasks as well.

Your Profile
- You have a Master degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or Administration, with a specialisation or an additional education in logistics (MBA, APICS).
- You have 1 - 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong capability to think in processes, firm analytic and conceptual reasoning skills.
- Strong affinity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (verbally and in writing) and preferably of German (verbally).

- Customer focused, team player, decision and action taker, self propelling, strong drive for improvements, result oriented.
- Firm personality: functional leadership skills, good communicator, stress tolerant.
