Main tasks:

• Apply mathematics, science, and engineering principles to solve a wide range of open-ended chemical engineering problems using critical thinking and creative problem solving;
• Design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data, and apply the results to chemical systems and processes;
• Design a system, component, or process to meet desired technical, economic, safety, and environmental criteria;
• Cooperate successfully as a member of a productive team by using their awareness of leadership and group dynamics issues;
• Utilize the techniques, analytical skills, and modern computational tools necessary for successful chemical engineering practice;
• Understand and appreciate the need for professional integrity and ethical decision making in the professional practice of chemical engineering;
